Report of First Day Actives 1st April’2019

‘Nature is vulnerable to nurture. ’The academic year 2019-20 began with synergizing energies towards setting various milestones in support of exploration, experimentation and self- direction in the form of unanimous participation in various activities conducted on the very first day of school.

Robotics workshops were conducted across Grades I, II and Grade V where children were explained the importance of Artificial Intelligence and the future of the use of robots in our daily lives. Models of Sweeping Robot, Earthquake simulator, and Joystick with scratch programming were introduced.

A Memory Retention workshop was also conducted for Grade III

The children of Grade IV, Western Dance

Art and Craft introduced colour in the day in Grade III and Grade VI. Children made flowers with coloured paper.

Personality development and Stress management workshops dominated for Grade VII and VIII having the children glued with interest and participation with experiences to share.   

Grade VII also participated in a Theatre and Drama workshop.

Grade VIII engaged into an educational experience of amalgamating mechanics, Maths and Artificial Intelligence.

Peer Pressure handling and Public Speaking workshops were conducted for Grade IX in an attempt towards handling the nuances of the same. Tips were discussed with examples and a demo and ppt highlighted the main points to be kept in mind.

The First Day Activities were conducted in an attempt to find means to nurturing the nature of a child to lead to desirable consequences and altering a child’s needs and facilitate a positive attitude towards the blooming process of self-discipline, creativity, independence of thought and tenacity of purpose.
